International Journal of Geoinformatics aims at publishing scientific and technical developments in the diverse field of Geoinformatics encompassing Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Geographic Information System, and Global Positioning Systems. Papers dealing with innovations in theoretical, experimental and system design aspects are welcome. Routine applications without significant findings will not be considered.
   
  Manuscript submission details
 
Digital copy of the manuscript in PDF should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief. The manuscript should be prepared in MS Word double spaced in A4 size. Size of the manuscript should be limited to 15 pages (A4 size) inclusive of all texts, figures, and tables. Manuscripts should be organized in the following order
   
  (a)Cover page (Title, Name of authors, affiliations, address, e-mail, phone, fax) on one page
 

The main paper should have

(b)Title (Times Roman, 14 Font, Bold, Center justified)

  (c) Abstract (about 150 words)
  (d) Main text with sections and subsections numbered in order
  (e) References
  (f) One page with titles of tables
  (g) All tables on separate pages in same order with title
  (h) One page with titles of figures
  (i) All figures on separate pages in same order without title but numbered by pencil at right bottom corner
   
  References
 
References should be cited in the text by author name followed by year for example, (Narulmalani, 1990). If same author and year appear in more than one paper then they may be discriminated by putting a or b after the year, like (Narulmalani, 1990a). All of the cited references should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the paper in reference section. The following reference format will be used

  Colour Illustrations
 

Colour illustrations should be limited in number. The first colour page will be charged at US$ 150 and subsequent colour pages at US$ 85 per page.  An invoice will be sent to the author before printing the paper.

   
  English Proofing Service
 

As per the policy of the journal all the papers will be proofed and edited for their English. If the author wishes to use the proofing and editing service in advance of the paper submission, it may be arranged at a nominal cost USD50. This will help in speedy and smooth reviewing of the paper. It is encouraged for all non-native English speaking authors.

   
  Submission of Paper as softcopy
  A softcopy version of manuscript in MS Word format should be submitted on final acceptance of the paper.
   
  Copyright
 
Upon acceptance of the paper by Editor-in- Chief, the copyright should be transferred to the publisher.
 

Reprints
50 reprints in hard copy can be ordered at US$50 using the order form sent to the corresponding authors after the manuscript has been accepted.
